Soap distribution at HH level

Soap is the most important disinfection and cleaning material which demand has been increased day by day due to increasing the frequency of hand washing of the community. As per guidance of WHO, in this situation every person should maintain minimum 01 meter (3.28 feet) distance from other person to avoid the person to person contamination. So community awareness on this issue is very much important to protect the community. NGO Forum has taken initiatives to disseminate this message to the community. On the other hand, during this situation, WASH is declared as Emergency activity for the refugees by the sector and local administration. Though the COVID-19 situation is going to worsen day to day in Cox’s Bazar area, the team NGO Forum has presence in the field to implement the very essential WASH services since the beginning of the emergency. Though they are very much worried about the risk of COVID-19 and also their personal safety and security, with their commitments and dedications, this team is sacrificing the govt. holidays for the betterment of Refugees. We believe that with this dedication we will overcome this pandemic situation within the nearest coming days.
